The Fashion Merchandising program at Marist University prepares students to plan, market, and manage fashion products through a blend of business, branding, and consumer insight. What do you learn in Fashion Product Development?
Marist's Fashion Product Development program provides a foundation in contemporary concepts of the apparel industry. It covers various aspects such as product development, production, sourcing, branding, licensing, and product data management. By pursuing a minor in Product Development, students gain valuable insights into how fashion products are designed and managed throughout their entire lifecycle. Students take courses such as:

Drawing on his hands-on experience and best practices, Bradley emphasizes and demystifies the digital skills needed to create effective, accurate flats, textile designs, tech packages, and CAD presentations.
Before coming to Marist, Jodi spent 10 years working in product development for Macy's. Jodi's responsibilities included developing various product lines, attending fit sessions, negotiating with vendors, and conducting trend research.
Scott pursued a degree in Studio Art focusing on Fiberarts and Sculpture with an emphasis on creating textile and prints for use in fashion, performance, and installation work. He constructed, dyed, and distressed costumes for professional theatre, opera, and ballet early in his career.
