蜜月直播 Our Organization

Our purpose is to unify people and enrich the college as well as the community by being open to all walks of life through various cultural, educational, and social events; this will allow us to act as a unifying voice of the underrepresented students of 蜜月直播. The Black Student Union acts as a safe space for all students of color, we offer support through our knowledge and connection to resources. Please join us for discussions on intersectionality, being Black at Marist, LGBTQ+ within the Black community, The over-sexualization of Black bodies, and more! Some past and future events include BLM Protests, Kente Brunch, Night at the Apollo, Speed mingling, Wild N鈥� Out, Cultural Dinner Dance, and Black Flea Market.

Club Leadership

President: Hadley Henry

• Curate a democratic and fair environment for conversation at board gatherings as well as at club gatherings and events.

Vice President: Ti鈥橸ahn Williams-Giles

• Helps maintain the focus of the club. Works closely with the president informing club goals and values.

Secretary: Gabrielle Lloyd

• Holds board members accountable for tasks delegated and approaching deadlines.  

Social Media: Justine Cole

• Curates the image of the Black Student Union on social media.

Treasurer: Mbaba Diop

• Maintains all monetary factors of the Club.

Meeting Times

Marist鈥檚 Black Student Union meets biweekly at 9:30 pm. The day of the week is TBD.

Earn Priority Points through Clubs and Activities

To earn one (1) point: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club/organization meetings for the semester and 50% of club/organization activities.

To earn two (2) points: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club/organization meetings for the semester and 75% of club/organization activities PLUS the community service event.

To earn three (3) points (executive board only): Officers must attend 50% of club meetings for the semester and 100% of club activities including community service. If executive board members do not complete all of the requirements to earn three points, they will be eligible to receive up to two points based on the above criteria.
