Complete Clinical Experiences as an Undergraduate
Medical Laboratory Science is all about laboratory work, both on-campus in our state-of-the-art laboratories and in our regional hospital associate sites. In addition to lab experience at Marist, you鈥檒l complete a 720-hour clinical experience working side-by-side with professional Medical Laboratory Scientists in hospital laboratories in the areas of hematology/hemostasis, clinical chemistry, immunohematology, urinalysis/body fluids, clinical microbiology, and immunology. Students even have the option to do their clinical hours at three of the country's premier medical centers: Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York Presbyterian Hospital, and NYU Langone Health, connections that develop crucial clinical experience, as well as important job connections for after graduation.

Facilities include a large, modern medical technology laboratory, a fully-equipped microbiology laboratory, a prep room, and a storage and autoclave room.

Jackie is all about teamwork鈥攐n and off the court.
Inspired to shoot hoops and serve, Jackie Piddock '26, a biology major, is a point guard for the Red Foxes and recently completed Marine Corps officer training. When she's not scoring on the court, she's immersed in her psychology and human bio studies preparing for her dream job as a U.S. Navy medic. Jackie is more than a DI athlete鈥攕he's a leader on the court and in her community.
