"It was really special being a part of the ribbon cutting and what it represents," said Shyamal Amin '26, RFF Club President. A student mock board and new internship opportunities have also been established, ensuring Red Fox Financial continues to grow as both a service to the Marist community and a training ground for student leaders.
鈥淲e started Marist Red Fox Financial because we wanted there to be a place on campus where students could learn the basics of managing their finances and leave college feeling independent and knowledgeable enough to handle things on their own,鈥 said Layla Keen 鈥25, Red Fox Financial Co-Founder. 鈥淲e also wanted to create opportunities for students to get jobs on campus and educate each other.鈥
University leaders, HVCU executives, HVCU board members, student representatives, and members of the Marist community all gathered to commemorate the launch. Staffed by student relationship advisors, the branch gives students opportunities in financial management, marketing, HR, and operations.
