Bio

Amy Pittari, LCSW-R is a clinical social worker, educator, and practicum supervisor with over 30 years of experience supporting children, families, and professionals in both clinical and school-based settings. A longtime member of the adjunct faculty in Marist鈥檚 BSW program, Amy is deeply committed to developing reflective, ethical, and resilient social workers.

She brings an extensive trauma-informed background to her current role as Clinical Supervisor and Lecturer in the Marist School of Social and Behavioral Sciences MSW program. Amy is passionate about integrating academic learning with real-world application and guiding students to become compassionate and purposeful professionals.

Currently, Amy works in collaboration with local school districts and youth-centered agencies on initiatives dedicated to advancing trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices in schools and community-based settings. She is thrilled to be part of Marist鈥檚 new fully online Master of Social Work (MSW) program and to continue contributing to the development of future social work leaders.
